Shirley Epstein, GRI
Shirley Epstein’s commitment to maintaining high ethical standards in the daily practice of real estate, her professional style and her previous ownership of an agency, make this 20+ year veteran a great addition to the Commonwealth Real Estate Your Way’s dedicated team of REALTORS particularly because she shares the Platinum Rule philosophy, the cornerstone of the business model at Commonwealth.
Licensed in 1984, Epstein began her career with Dreher Realty in Stroudsburg and was trained in both brokerage and appraisal. She worked as an agent, then after obtaining her Broker’s license in 1987, she managed three Dreher offices. In 1989, she purchased Dreher Realty and an ERA Franchise and operated her business out of a new location on West Main Street in Stroudsburg.
Epstein holds the GRI designation, the mark of a real estate professional who, according to the National Association of REALTORS, has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services by securing a strong educational foundation. REALTORS who hold the GRI designation are highly trained in many areas of real estate to better serve and protect their clients. In addition, Epstein is a certified broker/appraiser which means she holds certification under the authority of Appraisal Foundation and must
adhere to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Service and is authorized to perform appraisals of all types of real estate property in non-federally related transactions and allows her the opportunity of staying abreast of current market values.
Epstein is a member of the Pocono Mountains Association of REALTORS, the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS and the National Association of REALTORS. She was a director at PMAR as well as treasurer during her membership and in 1992, she served as president of the Board.
In addition to real estate, Epstein has a great passion for the arts and paints in watercolor. In fact, several of her works grace the office décor at the Commonwealth Real Estate Your Way, LLC, Mt. Pocono office. She is an active member of the Pocono Arts Council of Monroe County. She displays her work at several area galleries and has studied with local, regional and national artists and participates in many competitions.

We value every person we come into contact with, work to earn trust and respect. We apply the Platinum Rule to every situation and every transaction.
